Dan Regan has been training in the Martial Arts  for most of his life. He has been fortunate to have been trained by some of the most recognized Masters of several different Martial Art Systems. Dan is known as a very passionate teacher with a true desire for his students to achieve success in the Arts and in their lives. Dan has earned Instructor status in various Arts and continues to learn and grow in the Martial Arts.(Dan is shown here with JKD legend, Guro Dan Inosanto)
Dan began his training as a child in Tae Kwon Do and youth wrestling programs . He later pursued his passion for Martial Arts by training at a cross training school on Long Island. Dan trained and taught classes at this school for over a decade and was a Full Instructor in Wing Chun , Kali, Silat and certified in submission wrestling. After over a decade of training and several years of teaching at this  Martial Arts  school Dan left the School due to personal differences and went on to form Regan's Martial Arts. This turned out to be a blessing because within a few years the school and the owner completely changed directions from a hardcore training group to a very commercial school. (Dan is shown here with his training partner of ten years  Scott G).
After many injuries and the stressors of life which included Dan's mom become more ill with Emphysema and the politics involved with leaving his prior Martial Arts School, Dan searched out teachers of the Internal Martial Arts with the intention on learning a new approach to his training that would allow him to reduce the frequency of injuries as well as learning meditation methods to deal with life stressors. Dan searched Ny Chinatowns and trained with a few so- called Masters before meeting Master Li Tailiang. Dan began training with Master li in Taiji and later shifted his focus back into combat by learning the Arts of Xingyi and Bagua. After a few years of intense private training, Dan was accepted as a formal Indoor (Tudi) Disciple of Master Li. Dan went on to become one of Master Li's most proficient students and is a FULL INSTRUCTOR in Master Li's System. Dan continues his training with Master Li today.
Dan continues to seek more knowledge from the best teachers he can find.He curently continues training in Doce Pares as well as training MMA at Bas Ruttens Elite MMA and teaching classes several days a week with his own students at Regan's Martial Arts.
With a family and many  responsibilities ,finding time to continue training is always difficult however their is always a way. Dan always makes time for training and expects the same from his students.  (Dan is shown here with 8th degree Blackbelt in Doce Pares, Master Erwin Mosqueda in Los Angeles)
Dan is also known as a very proficient Acupuncturist and Herbalist. Dan graduated from the Ny college of Health Professions and is a NY State Licensed Acupuncturist. Dan is a sought after Acupuncturist specializing in sports injuries, Stress Disorders and many other common ailments. Dan has often stated that  graduating Acupuncture College was one of his biggest accomplishments, the course of study was intense and required 60 College credits to enter the program and over 185 College Credits in both Eastern and Western Medicine in just a few years to complete the program! (Dan is shown here with one of his mentors, Dr Yun Li M.D, L.Ac. ). Dan was hired as an adjunct faculty Professor while still a student in the College, he was hired to teach Martial Arts and Taiji Quan in both the Long Island and Brooklyn Ny campus.
